CTV INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The purpose of the intern program is to provide professional experience for students interested in media production or information technology while assisting the North Suburban Communications Commission (NSCC) and CTV North Suburbs staff and our member cities. The internships are currently a paid position or can also be coordinated for school credit.
GENERAL APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
The applicant must submit a current resume and be prepared to submit a current transcript. A grade point average equivalent to a B or better is preferred.
The applicant must be enrolled in an educational institution, preferably with course work completed in media production or information technology.

Below are a few success stories of students who have been a part of the CTV Intership program and/or received NSCC Scholarships.
Megan served as an intern at CTV back in 2008 and 2009. She started in Alexandria, MN as a anchor/reporter for KSAX before moving to WHO, the NBC affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa. Megan served as a multimedia journalist including reporting, videojournalist, Web contributor and on-the-spot updates via Facebook and Twitter when out in the field. She currently serves as a Video Producer for South Washington Schools in Cottage Grove, MN. Megan graduated from the University of Minnesota.
Megan (Brown) Seeman
Charlie was a scholarship recipient in 2005 and 2006 along with serving as a Sports Announcer for Mounds View High School sports in 2004. He is currently a sports anchor and reporter for KOTV in Tulsa, OK. Before that, Charlie was a sports reporter at CBS affiliate KOLN/KGIN in Lincoln, Neb., and a sports anchor at the CBS and FOX affiliates in Springfield, Mo. His work has been honored with first-place awards by the Great Plains Associated Press, and the Missouri Broadcasters Association. Hannema holds a degree from the University of Missouri school of journalism.
Lauren interned at CTV in 2011-2012 assisting with our news program, North Suburban Beat. Currently, she is a News Producer with KSTP-TV Channel 5 starting in 2014. Prior to that, Lauren spent two years with KDLT in South Dakota as a Producer. She is an Arden Hills native attending Mounds View High School and graduating from the University of Minnesota.
Kate was an intern and a scholarship recipient in 2005. She currently works for KSTP-TV Channel 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS as a reporter beginning in April 2012. Prior to that, Kate anchored news at KEZI-TV in Eugene, Oregon and was a weekend anchor in Grand Junction, Colorado. Kate is a St. Paul native who went to Mounds View High School and graduated from the University of St. Thomas magna cum laude with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Theology.
